全球頂尖科技盛會LEAP，首次揮軍海外即落戶香港，今日起一連三天點燃會展中心，展現香港作為國際創科與投資樞紐的魅力。

被譽為「數字達沃斯」、全球最大科技盛會LEAP首次在沙特阿拉伯以外的地方舉行，落戶香港舉行區域旗艦活動LEAP East。

Known as the "Digital Davos," LEAP, the world's largest technology event, has been held outside Saudi Arabia for the first time, choosing Hong Kong as the host city for its regional flagship event, LEAP East.

這場雲集全球科企巨擘的數碼盛事今天（8日）起一連三天在香港會議展覽中心舉行，343位講者、超過400位投資者及逾250家初創企業將圍繞人工智能、機械人、金融科技、生物科技及智慧城市五大範疇展開深入討論。

This digital extravaganza, bringing together global tech giants, kicks off today (July 8) for three consecutive days at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With 343 speakers, over 400 investors, and more than 250 startups, the event will feature in-depth discussions across five key areas: artificial intelligence, robotics, fintech, biotechnology, and smart cities.

主辦方Tahaluf行政總裁Mike Champion讚揚，香港基礎設施一流，又是通往大灣區及內地的門戶，加上擁有大量資金渠道，是LEAP「出海」最佳落腳點。

Mike Champion, CEO of organizer Tahaluf, praised Hong Kong for its world-class infrastructure, its role as a gateway to the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and the Chinese Mainland, and its abundant funding channels, making it the ideal launchpad for LEAP's international expansion.

香港除了是內地企業「出海」的跳板，也是外企及海外組織增加影響力的橋頭堡，這種雙向「超級聯繫人」的角色體現在今次LEAP East活動上。

Hong Kong serves not only as a springboard for mainland companies going global, but also as a bridgehead for foreign enterprises and overseas organizations to expand their influence. This two-way "super connector" role is clearly reflected in LEAP East.

Mike Champion昨日在傳媒簡報會上表示，LEAP擁有最大的管理資產規模，無論在沙特還是首次來港，一直追求實實在在的商業成果。

At a media briefing yesterday, Champion noted that LEAP manages the largest pool of assets under management, and whether in Saudi Arabia or making its debut in Hong Kong, the event has always pursued tangible business outcomes.

LEAP處於政府、外交、政策和商業的交匯點，吸引各級政府部門與私營部門密切互動。

Positioned at the intersection of government, diplomacy, policy, and commerce, LEAP attracts close interaction between government agencies at all levels and the private sector.

他透露，之前收到很多國家城市政府的招手，邀請LEAP落戶該地，但最終大會選擇香港，背後有三個原因，首先是香港基礎設施出色，會展設施和交通連通性一流，他形容香港是一個充滿活力、「crackle in the air（令人振奮）」的城市。

He revealed that the organizers had received invitations from many cities and countries to host LEAP, but ultimately chose Hong Kong for three reasons. First, Hong Kong's infrastructure is outstanding, with excellent convention facilities and top-tier transport connectivity.

He described Hong Kong as a vibrant city with a "crackle in the air," with an electric, exhilarating atmosphere.

其次，香港是通往大灣區和中國內地的門戶，而中國是全球最重要的創新者。

Second, Hong Kong is the gateway to the GBA and the mainland, and China is the world's most important innovator.

再者，香港作為大灣區內最重要的金融中心，擁有大量資金渠道，初創企業擴大規模時需要與當地風險投資、私募股權和天使投資人對接。團隊對香港的國際吸引力保持高度信心，盼能打造亞太區最具分量的科技與投資盛事之一。

Third, as the most significant financial center in the GBA, Hong Kong offers abundant funding channels, and startups looking to scale need to connect with local venture capital, private equity, and angel investors. The team maintains strong confidence in Hong Kong's international appeal and aspires to make the event one of the most significant technology and investment gatherings in the Asia-Pacific region.
