Unprecedented Academic and Cultural Immersion at a World-Class University
This summer, a group of Secondary 3 to 5 students from TMCC Holm Glad College embarked on an extraordinary 11-day study tour to the University of Cambridge. They lived and studied in the historic university city, immersing themselves in its rich academic atmosphere.
Throughout the journey, students participated in a diverse range of activities. They developed their creativity and confidence through dedicated music and drama workshops, and broadened their historical and cultural perspectives by visiting renowned museums and historic chapels. The experience was further enriched by authentic cultural immersion, including playing traditional English outdoor games and enjoying the classic dish of fish and chips.
This invaluable opportunity was made possible thanks to the generous support of Honorary University Fellows of Hong Kong Baptist University Mr. N C Wong and Mr. T Y SHANG. Their contribution allowed students to engage deeply with the academic and cultural traditions of one of the world's most prestigious universities.
